Finding God’s Love in Your Ordinary Days

Sweet friend, everyday miracles are happening all around you right now — and most of them are so quiet, so gentle, so beautifully ordinary that they slip right past you if you’re not paying attention.

We spend so much of our lives waiting for the big moment. The dramatic answer to prayer. The breakthrough that changes everything. And those moments are real and they are wonderful when they come.

But what if I told you that God has been showing up for you all along — not just in the thunder, but in the whisper? Not just in the mountaintop moments, but in the middle of your Monday morning? What if the greatest proof of His love has been sitting right in front of you this whole time, disguised as something ordinary?

That’s what this new series is all about. Each week, we’re going to slow down together and look for the little miracles — the everyday miracles that prove God’s fingerprints are all over your life, even when you can’t feel them.

Because they are there, sweet friend. They have always been there.

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:22-23 (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Lamentations+3%3A22-23&version=ESV)

New every morning. That means today — this very day you are living right now — God placed something beautiful in your path. And once you start looking for it, you will find everyday miracles everywhere.

Here are five places to start.

Sign One: Everyday Miracles Begin With Morning Light

There is something sacred about the first light of a new day. Before the to-do list starts running through your mind, before the phone buzzes, before the world gets loud — there is that quiet, golden moment when the sun rises and everything feels possible.

That light is not an accident. It is God saying, “I kept you through the night. I gave you another day. I am still here.”

The next time morning light pours through your window, let it land on your heart before it lands on your plans. That warmth on your face? That is one of the most beautiful everyday miracles there is — a brand new beginning wrapped in sunrise.

Sign Two: Everyday Miracles Show Up Through Unexpected Kindness

A stranger holds the door open when your arms are full. A friend texts “thinking of you” on the exact day your heart is heavy. Someone lets you go ahead of them in line and smiles like they mean it.

These moments feel small. But they are not small at all.

Every act of unexpected kindness is God using someone else’s hands to remind you that you are seen. You are not invisible. You are not forgotten. He is always working through the people around you, and those everyday miracles of kindness are proof that love is still the loudest voice in this world — even when the world feels noisy with everything else.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm+46%3A10&version=ESV)

Sign Three: Everyday Miracles Appear in the Beauty of Nature

A dragonfly that lingers on your porch railing. A butterfly that crosses your path at just the right moment. The smell of rain after a long, dry week. Flowers blooming in a place nobody planted them.

Nature is God’s love letter written in a language your heart already knows how to read.

When you stop long enough to really look at a single wildflower — the detail, the color, the way it grows toward the sun no matter what — you are looking at one of God’s everyday miracles. He did not have to make the world this beautiful. But He did, because He loves you that much.

“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” — Matthew 6:26 (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+6%3A26&version=ESV)

If He takes care of the birds, sweet friend, He is absolutely taking care of you.

Sign Four: Everyday Miracles Arrive at the Perfect Moment

You know that feeling. The song that comes on the radio that says exactly what your heart needed to hear. The verse that jumps off the page during your morning devotion as if it was written just for you, just for today. The phone call from someone you were just thinking about.

That perfect timing is not a coincidence. That is God whispering right into the middle of your day, reminding you that He sees exactly where you are and knows exactly what you need.

These everyday miracles of timing are His way of saying, “I have not lost track of you. I am right here. I have always been right here.”

And once you start recognizing them, you will be amazed at how often they happen. God’s timing is never late. It is always, always perfect.

Sign Five: Everyday Miracles Live in Quiet Peace

Sometimes the miracle is not something you see. It is something you feel.

It is that unexpected wave of calm that washes over you in the middle of a hard season. The deep breath you did not know you needed. The moment when your heart stops racing and you just feel… held. Safe. Okay.

That peace — the kind that makes no logical sense given your circumstances — is one of the most powerful everyday miracles God gives us. It is His presence settling over you like a warm blanket, reminding you that no matter what is happening around you, He has you.

You do not have to earn that peace. You do not have to be strong enough or faithful enough or good enough. You just have to be still long enough to receive it.

Sweet friend, God’s love is not hiding from you. It is not reserved for perfect people living perfect lives. It is right here, right now, tucked inside the ordinary, beautiful, messy, miraculous moments of your everyday life.

You just have to look for it.

And that is exactly what we are going to do together in this series. Each week, we will slow down, open our eyes, and find the little miracles God has placed along our path — because once you start seeing them, you will never stop.

So tell me — what was your little miracle today? I would love to hear about it in the comments. Your moment might be exactly the encouragement someone else needs right now.

💜 You are loved. You are seen. You are living proof that God still works miracles — and most of them are beautifully, wonderfully ordinary.
