Hey there, sweet friend. If you’re here today, maybe it’s because life doesn’t look the way you planned — and maybe that detour is part of the blessing God has been preparing for you all along.
You had a vision for how things were supposed to go. The career, the relationship, the timeline, the dream — it was all mapped out in your heart. And then something shifted. A door closed. A plan fell apart. The road you were walking suddenly turned in a direction you never expected, and now you’re standing in the middle of a path you didn’t choose, wondering what happened.
I want you to know something today. You are not lost. You are being led.

Read that one more time. Let it really sink in. He knows the plans. Not you. Not the world. Not the circumstances swirling around you. Him. And His plans are to prosper you — not to harm you. To give you hope and a future.
That means wherever you are right now, however lost it feels, you are exactly where He needs you to be.

Here’s something beautiful to think about. Some of the greatest gifts in your life probably weren’t part of your original plan.
That friend who showed up right when your heart was breaking. That job you almost didn’t apply for that changed everything. That quiet moment of peace that found you in the middle of your storm. None of it was on your map — and yet all of it was placed there by a God who loves you more than you can imagine.

Immeasurably more than all you ask or imagine. That’s what He’s working on. That’s what the detour is leading you toward. A blessing so big, so beautiful, so perfectly designed for your heart — you never even knew to ask for it.

It’s tempting to think that the hard seasons are wasted time. That the tears, the confusion, the waiting — none of it counts. But that couldn’t be further from the truth.
God doesn’t waste a single step you take. Every hard day is building your strength. Every tear is softening your heart for what’s coming. Every moment of waiting is teaching you to lean on Him in a way you never would have if the road had been easy.

All things. Not some things. Not just the easy, happy, comfortable things. All things — including the detours, the delays, and the unexpected turns. He is working every single one of them together for your good.
