A simple habit many women love is keeping a little “blessing journal” by the bed. Each night, write down three good things from your day, even if they were as small as a hot shower or a green light. Over time, you’ll be training your eyes to look for God’s goodness.

Life is such a gift, and God never meant for us to take every moment too seriously. Some of the happiest people you know are the ones who can laugh at themselves, dance in the kitchen, and giggle over something silly.

So give yourself permission to have some fun today. Play your favorite music a little too loud. Wear the cozy socks. Watch the funny show. Tell the joke that makes you snort. A good, clean laugh is a little bit of medicine for the soul, and it reminds you that joy is meant to be enjoyed.

Finding Joy in Ordinary Days Is Possible Because God’s Love Is New Every Morning

Here is the most beautiful truth of all: you don’t have to earn a joyful day. God’s love for you is already here, waiting for you when you wake up.

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness” (Lamentations 3:22-23).

Every morning is a fresh start. Yesterday’s worries, mistakes, and disappointments don’t follow you into today unless you carry them. Set them down. You are loved, you are held, and you are never alone.
