Someday You’ll Wish You Had More Time — Don’t Wait To Live The Life You Were Meant To Live
Someday isn’t a promise, sweet friend. It’s just a word we use to make today feel a little easier to walk past. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to start living the life you were meant to live, I want to sit with you a while and talk about why today might be that moment.
To The World, She Had It All
She was smart, capable, savvy — the kind of woman other people looked at and thought, she has it all figured out. A handsome husband. A thriving business. A home most women only dream of walking into.
What no one could see was the quiet loneliness she carried home with her every night. The ache of standing in the middle of a beautiful life that somehow didn’t feel like hers anymore.
Maybe you know that feeling. Smiling through a life that looks perfect on the outside while something inside you keeps whispering, this isn’t quite it.
Someday Isn’t A Promise
Someday I’ll slow down. Someday I’ll do the thing I’ve been dreaming about. Someday I’ll stop putting everyone else first and finally live the life that’s been quietly calling my name.
One day, you will wish you had more time. More time to chase the dream you keep setting aside. More time to say the things you’ve been holding in. More time to simply breathe, and be, and live like you mean it.
That day isn’t today. Today, you still have time. Today, you get to choose.
What It Means To Live The Life You Were Meant To Live
Living the life you were meant to live doesn’t always mean a dramatic reinvention. Sometimes it’s as quiet as finally being honest with yourself about what you actually want. It’s giving yourself permission to want more than what looks good from the outside. It’s trusting that God isn’t finished with your story, no matter what chapter you’re standing in right now.
You weren’t made to spend your one life waiting for permission to live it. You were made for more than someday. You were made for right now.
Her Someday Came At 50
This is the heart behind my book, Keeping Promises. It’s the story of a woman who spent years telling herself someday, until she finally stood still long enough to hear what her own life had been trying to tell her all along. To the outside world she had everything. But at 50, she finally stopped pretending and found the courage to walk toward the life she was actually meant to live.
Her someday came at 50. Yours can start today.
