God has never failed you — and that is a truth worth holding onto.
Have you ever stopped to think about all the things you once worried about?
Sweet friend, I want you to do something with me today. I want you to close your eyes for just a moment — well, after you finish reading this sentence — and think back over your life.
Think about the hard seasons. The ones that felt like they might swallow you whole. The diagnosis that scared you to death. The relationship that fell apart. The job you lost. The money that ran out before the month did. The people you loved who walked away. The dreams that seemed to die right in front of your eyes.
Now I want you to ask yourself one honest question.
Did God bring you through it?
I already know your answer. Because you’re here. You’re reading this. You made it.
And sweet friend, that is no small thing.
The Worry List We All Carry
I don’t know about you, but I have spent a lot of years being a world-class worrier. I could turn a minor inconvenience into a full-blown catastrophe in about thirty seconds flat. I had a gift for it, honestly.
I worried about things that never happened. I worried about things that did happen but turned out so much better than I feared. I worried about things that were completely out of my hands — things that no amount of pacing the floor at 2 AM was ever going to fix.
And you know what all that worrying got me?
Tired. Just really, really tired.
Because here’s what I’ve learned after all these years of living and stumbling and getting back up again — worry never changed a single outcome. Not one. But God? God changed everything. Quietly, faithfully, in His own perfect timing — He worked things out in ways I never could have planned or predicted or even imagined.
He always does.
Looking Back With New Eyes
“This is how I know God has never failed you — the proof is written all over your own story.”
There’s something powerful that happens when you look back at your life not through the eyes of everything that went wrong, but through the eyes of everything God brought you through.
Suddenly the story changes.
That season you thought was going to break you? It built something in you that nothing else could have. That door that slammed shut in your face? It sent you down a road that led somewhere so much better. That prayer that seemed to go unanswered? It was being answered — just not in the way you expected, and not on your timeline.
When I look back at my own story — and sweet friend, it has had some really messy chapters — I can see His fingerprints on every single page. Even the painful ones. Especially the painful ones.
He was never absent. He was never distracted. He was never wringing His hands wondering how things were going to turn out. He knew. He always knew. And He was working on your behalf even in the moments that felt the most silent and the most still.
That is not a small God. That is a faithful one.
For the Hard Season You’re In Right Now
Maybe you’re reading this today and you’re right in the middle of something really difficult. Maybe the worry is fresh and the fear feels very real and it’s hard to see past what’s right in front of you.
I want to speak directly to your heart for a moment.
God has not forgotten you.
He sees exactly where you are. He knows exactly what you’re carrying. And He has not stepped away for even one second. The same God who carried you through every hard thing in your past is the very same God who is walking right beside you through this.
His track record is perfect. Not pretty good. Not most of the time. Perfect.
Lamentations 3:22-23 says, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”
New every morning, sweet friend. Every single morning — including this one.
He is not tired of you. He is not disappointed in you. He is not standing at a distance watching you struggle. He is close. He is faithful. And He is for you.
A Little Exercise for Your Heart Today
I want to leave you with something practical, because I think sometimes we need more than just words — we need a moment to really feel the truth of what we’re reading.
Grab a cup of coffee or tea, find a quiet spot, and take out a piece of paper or your journal. Write down three things that once terrified you that God brought you through. Three moments where you didn’t know how things were going to work out — and they did.
Read them back to yourself slowly.
That is your evidence. That is your proof. That is the testimony that faith is built on.
And the next time the worry creeps in — and it will, because we’re human and that’s just what we do — pull out that list. Look at it. And remind yourself of the truth that your own life tells.
God has never failed you. And He is not about to start now. 🙏
You Are Not Alone in This
One of the things I love most about this little community we’ve built here is that none of us are walking through life alone. We’re doing it together — sharing the hard days and the hopeful ones, the doubts and the breakthroughs, the tears and the laughter.
If you’re in a hard season right now, I want you to know that I’m praying for you. Genuinely, truly praying — that God makes His presence so real to you today that the worry loses its grip. That you feel His peace settle over you like a warm blanket on a cold morning. That you remember, deep in your bones, that you are loved and held and never forgotten.
Because sweet friend, you are.
