My Story
Hello everyone, I'm Marilyn L. Hart
Ever since I can remember, I made up stories in my head. Becoming a writer was only natural for me. But I did not pursue my writing career for many years, because I was a single mom, working and trying to raise my children. I believe if you have a desire inside of you, it will come out one day. Hopefully, if you have a dream inside of you, you do not wait as long as I did. Find a way to pursue it now.
The first book I had started was Sarah’s Gift. Originally, I was going to kill off Uncle Johnny in Sarah’s Gift, but I got to like his character so much, I ended writing his book first, Johnny’s Gift. Needless to say, he lived and I love how his story turned out. That is one of the things I love the most about writing; watching the way the characters develop. One day you have them headed down one path, then the next you change your mind and they go another direction. As the writer, you have the freedom to do that.
Each of my books has a little bit of me in them.
When I wrote, “The Chance To Do It Again”, I pictured my high school as the setting and the hero in the book was my high school crush. I have always wanted to go to Ireland. It was fun creating a haunted castle and how our lives intertwine.
My last book, “I Saw The Signs, I Just Ignored Them” was based upon my European vacation with my three girlfriends. The fun part was even though I changed each of their names; all three of my girlfriends knew which character they were in the book. What happened to the ladies in the book did not happen to us, but it was fun to write it as if it had.
Now, besides writing, I have opened a Shopify store and am selling a variety of product. You can check out the store at www.Findinglifesmagic.shopify.com. I am having so much fun doing this, because it allows my creative spirit to continue and spread positive messages to people around the world. I have note pads all over my house. When a thought comes to me of a saying I would like to put on a mug, I hurry up and write it down. In fact, they also come to me in my dreams, to where I wake up and go to my computer to start designing. It has become quite addictive to me. My goal when people are looking at their coffee mug; is to put a smile on their face and inspire them in Finding Life’s Magic. To me life is magical. We are each truly blessed to be alive and should try to make the most out of every day

I've written five romantic novels in total
I’m currently working on my fifth book. My books are, “Johnny’s Gift”, “Sarah’s Gift”, “The Chance To Do It Again”, and my most recent one, “I Saw The Signs, I Just Ignored Them.” As a kid, I always loved using my imagination to create vivid scenarios in my head. Thankfully, now I can turn those fascinating stories into books! I also sell unique and beautiful mugs for every occasion.
